Head-Royce Christmas Classic Varsity Boys Basketball -- 29 Dec 2005, Oakland, CA -- The Branson Bulls, from Ross, CA, were too much for Jaguars from the French-American International School in SF, and went on to capture the 2005 Head-Royce Christmas Classic title 55-34. The Don's were just too much for the visiting Panthers and rolled to a 47-14 victory. Men's "C" Fastpitch National Championship1-6 Sep 2005, Stockton, CA Pennsylvania Power, National Champions! 65 teams started, only 1 remained. The Pennslvania Power were knocked into the losers bracket by Global Pacific Environmental (GPE) of Grant's Pass, OR, Monday morning. PA Power, beat Team Taylor of California to make it's way into the championship game against GPE. The Power won the first game to force a rubber match. MLK Classic hosted by De La Salle at St. Mary's CollegeMLK Classic Varsity GirlsMLK Classic Varsity Boys The 8th Annual MLK Classic hosted by De La Salle at St. Mary's College didn't disappoint basketball fans again. In the Varsity Girls games, Saint Mary's College Prep Panthers beat the Alhambra Lady Bulldogs 47-22 and in a matchup of the defending Division I and Division II State Champions it was the Oakland Tech Bulldogs 52-44 over the Carondelet Cougars. In the Boys games: Saint Mary's College Prep Panthers 51-44 over the Skyline Titans, Berkeley Yellow Jackets over the McClymonds Warriors 60-56, Santa Cruz Cardinals 63-57 on top of the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons.
